Sunday I spend the entire day on the Deerfield River. There is honestly no other way I would want to spend a 90 degree day. We started tubing around 11:30 or 12 and didn’t end till 5. I went with stephen, and his friends skinny, anthony, markland, sarah, and pepyne. I havent been this sunburned in awhile. I forgot to turnover on my stomach which is why my entire front side is the only thing that got color. After that I went to Kevin grad party to find Mr. Cavelli walking around without a shirt on. big surprise. I played a little volleyball, had a couple of awkward moment and then went home for school the next day.

Graduation

So I went out and bought a pretty little dress for graduation. I’m a lot closer with this years graduating class then I was with last years so this years graduation was very sad. When I get there I find out that my best friend who was supposed to be graduating that night, well she just wasn’t going to be there. I then had to sit through a 2 hour graduation which can only be described as one word “brutal”. Although graduation was really short this year, it was still really hot in the gym. After graduation I drove to South Deerfield at 10pm just to watch my boyfriend play poker with his friends. I dont think i’ve ever been so pissed off in my entire life. The next day I went with stephen and his friend to wendy’s where we got 30$ worth of food. It was probably the most satisfying meal i’ve ever had. When we arrived at the baseball game we find out that the teams haven’t even taken infield yet let alone get the field ready. The game started an hour late and it was about 150 degrees outside. In the end after one kid going to the hospital, my friends had won a western mass baseball championship.

I have a feeling that this will be the best summer of all summers. All of my friends are graduating, the weather is perfect. Everyday of my summer will consist of working 5 hours a day, playing soccer and being with friends and the bf. I can’t wail till the Deerfield river warms up and I can float down it for hours at a time. I’m also looking forward to gas costing 5$ a gallon.

Today is the seniors last full day at school. it’s probably the saddest day of my life so far since sam is leaving. Todd is leaving and i don’t know what I’ll do without him. I’ll miss my home ec class with bonnie, nicole, kevin and emily but especially kevin and his impressions of bonnie and brittany. The seniors are graduating June 6. June 5 is class night. I’m looking forward to class night since it’s usually pretty funny. Graduation is boring but of coarse, really sad. I kind of feel like I should be leaving the school as well. But instead I have to stay here for another 2 weeks for exams and MCAS which i’m thrilled about of coarse. June will be full of grad parties and trip down the deerfield river which i’m looking forward to the most. SENIORS I’LL MISS YOU GUYS SO MUCH IF YOU’RE READING THIS!

another prom

This weekend I went to Frontier Regionals prom at the Northampton Clarion. The food was really good, I think a buffet is a really good idea. Things seemed to run really smoothly and we were finished eating within a half hour. My friend Jon Pepyne got prom prince? which i didnt even know existed. the night before I went to my friend sarahs house to set up out tent. stephen was supposed to help but you can never expect too much from a guys. Before I even left for prom i was a mess. My ex-boyfriend from over a year ago was calling my cell phone while he was drunk saying how he was going to show up at my house. All of this while stephen was flipping out on me saying we were going to be late for pictures when he didn’t even tell me we were taking pictures at his house. how inconsiderate. So we did 70 mph on the way back to his house on 47. After prom we went back to stephens house to change. While i was at stephens i managed to pull 55 bobby pins out of my hair. my hair seemed to stay in a bun because of the amount of hairspray in my hair. stephen’s german exchange student managed to really piss of lenny and diane that night because his date left him in northampton. I can’t wait till he leaves this country, he’s just a huge inconvenience to my life. We then went to sarahs around 12. We had the usual burgers and hot-dogs. I didn’t go to sleep until 5 in the morning. Most people didn’t even go to sleep. the next morning sarah’s mom showered everyone with bagels and muffins. Everyone left by 11. I then went home and mowed the lawn while stephen passed out in my bed. After only 3 hours of sleep i had more energy then i had all night.

MCAS

The last two days our entire sophomore class has been taking MCAS. Well maybe not the whole class. There is no other way to describe MCAS as anything else but torture but also a huge waste of paper. The sounds through out the room are the sniffles from allergies, the scratching of pencils against paper, and the screeching of the pencil sharpeners. I felt like we didn’t review enough of what we learned last year because when it came to finding slope, I was clueless. And who’s great idea was it to give a standardized test to every kid in Massachusetts and then say, “hey you need to pass this to graduate.” ummm alright then. Good job state of Massachusetts, you’ve inspired many to drop out of high school because they couldn’t pass a test. On the brighter side, I have another prom this weekend. I think I’m looking forward to this one more since I actually have something to do after. Softball is also ending this week, THANK GOD. Playing games in the rain isn’t the best of time and when you lose to Mohawk…you know you have a problem.

Today in English we had Mr. Kubitz as our sub. Of coarse that meant another exciting class with Mr. Kubitz. We had a competition where we had to see how many times we could throw a hacky sack across the room without him looking up. Then we would set the alarms on our phones so that they would go off. But of coarse we turned our phones off after that…anyways, then we were having a competition on who could get the most paper balls in the trash can. That game lasted until sam pratts stormed out the room because she wanted to read a book…weird. Prior to English class we had a party for senorita spain in spanish, I find it kind of weird that she’s the one who informed us that we were having a party for her. I got up at 6 in the morning so that I could make muffins for the occasion, they kind of tasted like cardboard because I used olive oil instead of vegastable oil. The class ended with her yelling at us because we were standing by the doorway before the bell was about to ring again how weird. Well that pretty much sums up my first two periods of the days. Oh and I really hate it when people talk to me like I’m stupid. If you do it, i’ll probably flip out from now on.

Although I love Cam as a classmate and as a brother from another mother. He’s probably one of the most obnoxious, loud and genuine people I know. He often contemplates whether he should get cornrows or dreads. Today he finally decided that he was going to get dreads. He has a clear obsession with Burke Bonneville. Cam sits two spaces over from me in math class. Most of the time he’s talking about his big his arms are or how hot he is. He sometimes asks me to feel his biceps even though he never goes to the gym. He wears the same shoes to school everyday, classic sambas. He wears his tan cargo shorts just above the knee. Classy. His hair seems to be getting bigger everyday. He doesn’t wear a belt so he has to pull his pants up every 2 minutes. He says hi to EVERYONE with a “sup dawg” or with a nick name he made up for them, which no one really understands. Cam, you’re awesome.

my weekend was once again boring. After my softball game that we actually won! I went to stephen’s dodgeball tournament at his school. I really wanted to play but he wouldn’t let me because I dont even go to his school. After that i fell asleep on his couch, his mom woke me up at 2:30 in the morning. whoops! cheryl was not pleased with me the next morning. On Saturday I played in soccerfest at Umass. Like every year I end up hating it but the next year when im asked to play i always forget how much i hated it the year before. After soccerfest I went to stephens of coarse, except i couldn’t drive there because i had the car taken away for the night. we ended up going to some random girls house, i had a crappy time and wanted to leave as soon as i got there. On sunday it was mother’s day. i gave my mom a few presents and then she went back to bed so i left for the rest of the day. At 3 o’clock we had our annual spring band/chorus concert. that was torture to say the least. After I left there i drove to south deerfield to go to stephens basketball banquet. that was boring because i was stuck talking to old people the whole time. After that i went back to stephens to hang out for a little bit and then I went home and went to bed. yup…that was my weekend.

My name is stephanie. I’m obsessed with facebook bumper stickers. my friend rachael and I can’t stop sending them back and forth to eachother. my boyfriend stephen refuses to get a facebook because he thinks they’re stupid and this really frustrates me. i dont think i could be any happier right now with him. he also hates Taco Bell…. who the F’ hates taco bell??? my best friend is sitting next to me, her name is sam, she loves to live a life of sobriety…jk. my friend lucy just got her gall blader out…along with the seven stones in it. my softball team is awful, i dont want to be mean but seriously, we suck. I have a friend named briana banas but we call her crusty anus because she’s a little weird sometimes. Today we have a softball game but i really hope that it’s canceled because its over an hour away and i have prom tomorrow so i have a lot of stuff to do tonight. okay i have nothing else to write about right now. bye
